At Chawton CE Primary School we offer an inclusive, stimulating and dynamic curriculum for all our pupils, driven by exciting experiences and knowing the needs of all our children. From dragons and castles, to the Alton Civil War, learning becomes memorable as we strive to foster a love of learning in all within our community, through real life experiences, visitors, trips and outcomes with a purpose.
All our classes enjoy trips throughout each school year to further supplement their learning, including Marwell Zoo, Portchester Castle, Civil War re-enactments and Farm Visits. We also run annual residential trips for our children; Year 4 visit East Meon Sustainability Centre for three days, while Years 5 and 6 visit Calshot Activity Centre for a week. All the children love these experiences, challenging themselves with unfamiliar activities. They really are a highlight of the school year!
