We have exciting plans for the installation of a SEND/ELSA Garden as an additional outdoor learning space to further enhance our provision for our pupils in a landscape of increased special educational need.  We intend this space to be intentionally calming, with sensory provision and a covered, safe space.  It has been designed with all children in mind, not just SEN children, and will include a bug hotel and butterfly biome, as well as moveable seating that also provides a sensory feel.  As a small school we are always short of space and this area, which is currently just an unused, unloved dumping ground, will be regained as a useable, valuable and attractive area that all children will benefit from, but will also provide a calming, safe space for our SEN children when needed.
