iRock School of Music

We are very excited to offer our pupils the opportunity to join iRock School of Music.  Band coaches come in every Friday morning and run 30 minute sessions with up to 9 members in each band. Every child has a place in the band whether its the drums, keyboard, electric guitar or vocals.  Please contact iRock directly for any further information on this.

'iRock Lessons are not only fun but they can massively help develop your child's life skills: boosting confidence, supporting wellbeing, developing social skills and even helping to improve their academic performance'

'My son has been with iRock for three months and is thoroughly enjoying himself. It's been a great way to introduce him to music without committing to an out of school time regular appointment. We particularly enjoy the fact there are regular concerts even though they're still learning the basics, it's great to see.' - Proud Parent

ALPHA TRAMPOLINE CLUB

Hello there,
My name is Christine Bothwell and I am the Director of Coaching at Alpha Trampoline Club. We are a successful club based in Alton, with members from 3 years old and competitive members from 6 upwards representing the club and the Southern Region at regional, national and international levels, as well as a club member selected for the GB Disability Squad and a 10 year old selected for the England DMT Squad.
We have some opportunities over the summer holidays that we would like to open to your pupils, to hopefully kickstart a great summer for all our youngsters!
All our camps are run by our fantastic coaching staff who are all DBS checked, Safeguarding and First Aid trained. The camps include trampoline, double-mini trampoline, gymnastics, floor activities, games and lots of fun!

Booking is essential and all parents/guardians need to do is to contact us for more information. We can be contacted by email - alphatrampolineclub@gmail.com - on Facebook @alphatrampolineclub or by Whatsapp on 07903 369179.
We are based at Eggar's School in Alton and we would really appreciate it if you might be able to send out the information above to your parents by email or in a newsletter or on your website so that they might have the opportunity open to them as well. If you are able to pass it on to pupils as well by possibly putting a poster up in school, we would be really grateful. We look forward to meeting some of your youngsters over the summer!
Many thanks,
Christine Bothwell

Strictly Showtime!

We have run musical theatre classes in Alton for many years and we teach the singing, dancing and acting required for whichever show we are performing. We then put on a show every term or every other term depending on the age of the children.  We have recently started classes in Bordon and Whitehill from September and are also putting on some 2-day workshops there during the forthcoming half term holiday..

The classes for ages 7-12 which have started recently will be preparing for large scale performances on Bugsy Malone in Spring 2022.

We aim to provide these classes and workshops at affordable rates which are well under half the cost of similar franchised organisations who are often more just skills based and who rarely put on full scale shows. The classes have been very popular in Alton and elsewhere and parents often tell us that their children have gained hugely in confidence by joining our events. The performances really are something they will remember forever.

Thank you

Jenny Abbott
