School Times

Our morning session begins at 8:45am

Our school gate is open from 8:30am and we encourage children to be independent in putting their book bag and coat on their pegs and to go straight to their classrooms, where there will be a morning activity waiting for them. In Year R, parents are welcomed into the classroom to help their child settle in to the school day and to help establish routines.

Morning registration is at 8.45am, with children registered as late if they arrive after 8.50am. Morning registration closes at 9.05am. Arrival after the close of registration will be marked as unauthorised absence code ‘U’ in line with county and Department for Education (DfE) guidance. This mark shows them to be on site, but is legally recorded as an absence.

Break time 10:30am – 10.45am

All children in Oak class and Maple class (Early Years and Key Stage One) will be provided with a free fruit/vegetable snack which is provided by The School Fruit and Vegetable Scheme. Children in Chestnut and Sycamore (Key Stage 2) can bring in a piece of fruit or a vegetable as their snack. Please also send your child to school with a refillable water bottle, preferably one with a sports cap and it must be filled with water only – no squash. All children will have access to their water throughout the school day.

Lunch time – 12.00 noon – 1.00pm
