On Saturday 30 September 2023, at Perins School in Alresford, the Hampshire County Youth Bands are re-launching their Endangered Species programme. Students will take part in fast-track learning every term time Saturday at our rehearsal base in Alresford, before joining the Hampshire County Junior Band.
There will be two sessions – 10am and 11am. Children will be invited to attend one of these times.
We are looking for Year 4 or 5 students to be the next generation of tenor horn, euphonium, trombone, and tuba players. This scheme is only available to children who are not yet receiving tuition on brass instruments
The attached flyer provides you with some further information.

We have run musical theatre classes in Alton and nearby towns for many years and we teach the singing, dancing and acting required for whichever show we are performing. We then put on a show every term or every other term depending on the age of the children.
The attached flyer gives information about our weekly classes in Alton starting later this month.
I have also attached a flyer about our October half term workshops as well.
Our classes and workshops have been very popular in Alton and elsewhere and parents often tell us that their children have gained hugely in confidence by joining our events.
