We are working to promote fully funded CACHE courses with certification, available in levels 1, 2 & 3, for school support roles that are funded by the ESFA (Education Skills Funding Agency).
Funding has been made available in your school's area for our next course for this academic year, which starts on 30th September and we would be very grateful if you could make the parents/ carers at your school aware of this.
As the funding has been awarded by the ESFA there are some eligibility criteria that must be met for a fully funded place, which is listed on our website: www.studysmartuk.online
These courses are designed to make it easy for parents/carers who are looking to gain the necessary qualifications for a school support role, as the classes are run online, within school hours and during term times. Allowing parents to fit the classes in with school drop offs and collections.
Upon enrollment learners are asked to complete two short initial assessments online, in English and Maths to determine which level they should start on. However, the funding allows each learner to progress up to level 3, if they wish to.
We have funding in your school's area and wondered if you could share the attached poster to parents and carers at your school, so they can be made aware of this opportunity. I have attached the poster in both a PDF and JPEG for you to choose from, depending on the platform you use to communicate to parents.
We work closely with your local job centre and are able to offer a job interview to those who complete the course.
The deadline to enrol is the end of 25th September!
If you wish to see further information about the courses, please head to: www.studysmartuk.online

Dear all
I am writing to tell you about an exciting new opportunity, coming up straight after Easter, for year 6 young people preparing to leave church schools this year, based at The King’s Arms Youth Centre in Alton.
Unite is KA’s Christian youth group that meets weekly at our youth club at 5a Vicarage Hill, Alton on Mondays between 6.30pm – 8.00pm.
The King’s Arms is a Christian youth charity founded 25 years ago in Petersfield to serve the holistic needs of young people. We have had a second youth centre in Alton for over four years now and offer after-school clubs, mentoring services and more for young people. You can discover more about KA at www.thekingsarms.org.uk .
Unite is a well-established Monday night club that includes games, craft and food alongside prayer, worship and Christian discipleship. We are supported by a number of churches in the Alton area. Each club night is run by two of our youth workers plus a volunteer from a local church. Everyone who takes part agrees it is not only great fun but a really safe and welcoming place to explore faith and spirituality.
From Monday 22nd April we are inviting Year 6 children who are interested to come and try out Unite, meet the youth workers and the young people who already come. We hope by doing this that those young people who will be transitioning from primary to secondary school can remain connected to faith as they move up, and really build on the firm foundations that have been provided for them so far. So many young people lose connection with their Christian heritage at this point and we really want to offer something accessible, fun and engaging as they get older.
The club is free and available for all: Christian, non-Christian or undecided!
Spaces are limited though. I would be grateful if you could promote Unite for us at school amongst the year 6’s and perhaps also with parents or guardians. Young people who are interested in coming need to ask parents to contact me directly at dom@thekingsarms.org.uk or telephone 01730 231292 to let me know they are coming or if they want to ask any more questions. We will register each child and send them an invitation. The club will run all the way through to the summer holidays at the same time and place each week.
I also enclose a flyer for the club for your information.

Luminosa Young and Rising Voices Choirs
Dear Schools,https://luminosamusic.com/youth-choirs/ If you are interested in a free workshop for your school, please email me back and I will liaise with the appropriate contact. If this is something you are unable to offer, we would love for you to be able to share our attached poster with your students as we are always welcoming new members. Look forward to hearing from you.
I am getting in touch with the exciting news that our local youth choirs, which have been successfully running for over eight years, are welcoming new young singers and performers to become members of our youth choirs. We are offering the opportunity for schools to have a free workshop where one of our professional choir leaders will deliver a fun and engaging singing workshop to bring people the joy of singing, in exchange for us to be able to promote our external choir within your school which parents can seek to find out more information. Having worked in primary and secondary schools as a music educator and choir leader, I know the incredible benefits that music and singing can have on young individuals in allowing them to be creative and express themselves, but I also know the difficulties it can be for schools to have the funds for the extra-curricular work with funding cuts to the arts. We would love to support you and your school students to be able to express themselves. Luminosa Young and Rising Voices are two choirs, belonging to a family of choirs, Luminosa Music, which is run by professional leaders Josh, Johnny and Rebekah. The youth choirs run on Tuesday term times from 5.30-6.30 pm at the Alton Maltings Centre and are offering a FREE taster session for anyone who loves to sing. More information can be found here:
Warmest wishes,
