AMEN Shoebox update

We have received the message below from Wayne and Sarah who have overseen the packing of the shoeboxes in Worthing. It has been the best year ever for shoebox numbers so thank you for the part you played in making the collection a success.
A team of AMEN volunteers will be going out to Romania from 8th to 16th December to help distribute the boxes.
The grand total for this year is 2956, which is about 12% up from last year (2645) which is a great effort! 4 pallets of aid were also sent to Tibi, Steve Potts and Mia (warm clothes/blankets/baby clothes/moses baskets etc).
The haulage company have indicated customs are becoming more and more stringent in the last 3-4 months with regards to ‘other’ humanitarian aid so we particularly ask for your prayers for a smooth transition through customs with no issues.Well done everyone once again this year for a stirling effort!
